Expedited Application Assistance for Veterans

Expedited application assistance is available for an bidder that served every bit an active duty member of the United States armed forces and was honorably discharged.

Awarding assistance includes:

  6. Sealed, official educational transcripts for formal civilian education

Copies of service records can exist obtained from the National Archives and Records Administration.

Renewal Requirements Waiver for Active Duty War machine Personnel

Renewal requirements waived for military personnel called to active duty include renewal fees, continuing pedagogy requirements, and any other requirements as determined by BAR.

To qualify for a waiver, the licensee/registrant must:

  1. Possess a electric current and valid license when called to active duty.
  2. Provide written documentation that substantiates the licensee's/registrant's call to active duty.

"Chosen to active duty" includes licensees in all branches of the armed forces who, on a temporary basis, travel to remote locations to appoint in action relating to a war, national emergency, or other military operations.

Renewal requirements are only waived for the period of time the licensee/ registrant is serving in the temporary consignment at the remote location, and the licensee/registrant must notify BAR of receipt of a notice of discharge engagement within 60 days of receiving such a notice.

All private practice is prohibited under the waiver. A licensee may not render to private practice until after they have complied with renewal requirements required by the program(southward) under which they are licensed/registered.

Expedited Licensure and Initial Application Fee Waiver for Spouses or Domestic Partners of Active Duty Military machine Personnel

Expedited licensure, and beginning on July one, 2022, an initial application fee waiver, are available to spouses and domestic partners of active duty personnel in the Armed Forces.

To authorize, the applicant must:

  1. Supply testify that they are married to, or in a domestic partnership or other legal union with, an active duty member of the Armed Forces of the Us who is assigned to a duty station in California nether official orders.
  2. Hold a current license/registration in another land, district or territory of the United States in the profession or vocation for which the applicant is seeking a license/registration.

Delight note that this does not mean a license/registration must be issued, merely simply requires the process to be accelerated, and beginning July 1, 2022, to have the initial application fee waived.

Temporary Licensure for Spouses or Domestic Partners of Active Duty War machine Personnel

Temporary licenses are nonrenewable and expire 12 months after issuance, upon issuance or denial of a standard license, or upon issuance or deprival of an expedited license, whichever occurs start.
